It's All Downhill From Here

Me and the greens are so excited, particularly the greens. Tomorrow's length of daylight is 4 seconds longer. Happy Solstice everyone!

[Update: To be clear, I come from a distance running background... downhill is a good analogy, as in things get easier. Not quality gets worse:) ]

Daisy May & Greens

Since it is impossible to not fall in love with her voice, I thought I'd go ahead and share another Daisy May song where she sings about a different topic, a little more fun and certainly dear to my heart. If you go to her main webpage her wonderful song Greens is the fifth song on the music player on the left side of the page.

Or you hear it here (albeit with somewhat poor audio/video quality):

You can actually get a copy of this song on a really neat compilation CD & cookbooklet titled Something Fresh which was a true collaboration between SEEDS and Earthwork Music, both of which you should check out as well. Great Lakes, Great Food, Great Music!

A Letter From Downstream

If you have not heard of Daisy May or the proposed metallic sulfide mine in the UP, here is your chance. Listen to A Letter From Downstream which Daisy May donated to SaveTheWildUP.org.
