A2 - One of America's Best Walking Cities

From the American Podiatric Medical Association's 2008 Best Walking Cities in America Competition:
This year, more than 500 U.S. cities, or 10 of the most populated cities in each state, were surveyed to determine each city's walkability. A number of factors were considered, including the number of parks per square mile, use of mass transit and the percentage of adults who walk for fitness reasons. Cambridge, MA has earned the title of number one walking city for 2008, followed closely by New York City and Ann Arbor, MI.
...
The Best Walking Cities in America Competition is a project developed by the APMA to educate the public on the health benefits of walking and the important role that proper foot care plays in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Personally I always like to read the details of a study, so be sure to check out the FAQs, but who doesn't love to tout rankings, especially when your city does well.
